Galerie Johann Widauer

Galerie Johann Widauer, founded in 1997, first opened a space at Trientlgasse in Innsbruck. In 2005 the gallery moved to the current location in the Erlerstrasse 13, which was renovated by the architect Hanno Schlögl and opened its doors with a show by Lawrence Weiner. The gallery represents Austrian as well as international contemporary artists, who work across genres.
